Stargate: Now you can be Walter and control the Stargate from the comfort of your own home!
You can ask Gate Room to dial the Stargate using commands such as:
- Alexa, Ask Gate Room to dial the gate - Alexa, Ask Gate Room to dial the Stargate
You will usually get a connection and the gate will stay open for 38 minutes on until you say 'Alexa, ask Gate Room to shut it down' or 'Alexa, ask Gate Room to close. Sometime though chevron 7 may not lock or you will get an incoming wormhole that interrupts your dialing sequence!
You can get a variety of off world activations such as an SG team or Jonas Quinn returning or it could be a Goa'Uld attack! use commands such as:
- Alexa, Ask Gate Room for an off world activation
- Alexa, Ask Gate Room for an incoming wormhole
As well as the main functions you can open and close the iris by saying things like:
- Alexa, Ask Gate Room to close the iris
- Alexa, Ask Gate Room to open the iris
A few other functions are included such as:
- Alexa, Ask Gate Room to activate the base alarm
- Alexa, Ask Gate Room to activate the auto destruct
- Alexa, Ask Gate Room to make it spin (Because spinning is cool!)
I am looking to expand the functionality of this skill to include other sounds and have the ability to send teams or probes off world for a set time.
