With Tabata Timer you can start a timer for a Tabata workout. You can start a standard Tabata of 8 rounds with 20 seconds of training and 10 seconds of rest. But you can also make a customized Tabata by specifying the number of rounds and the working and resting time. Tabata Timer waits to count down until you are ready to start. Then it will indicate when to work and rest until the workout is finished.
Example phrases to start a timer: "Start a Tabata" “Create a 10 round Tabata” “Start a Tabata with 30 seconds of work” “Start a 10 round Tabata with 1 minute of work and 20 seconds of rest”
A Tabata is a high intensity interval workout. The goal is to do as many repetitions of an exercise as possible with good form. Tabata Timer will NOT tell you what exercises to do. You can do any exercise you want, squats, lunges, burpees, push-ups, sit-ups, it’s up to you.
