TCL Assistant

With the skill TCL Assistant and Alexa, you can now interact with your TCL Smart TV by voice. To get started, select the 'Enable Skill' button in the Alexa App to link TCL Assistant and discover your devices.

1. Click “Enable” button on the top of skills page to begin the setup
2. To activate the TV with Alexa, please go to TV Settings menu to select 'System -> Works With Alexa -> Obtain code' to get the activation code.
3. Insert the code in the account linking page as requested after you have clicked ‚ ”Enable‘ as described above.
4. Your screen should now see “Device Discovery”, please let this complete
5. Select your TCL TV and Alexa device you want to link together


Once you have linked your TV, you can say the following:

POWER OFF TV
"Alexa, turn off Bedroom TV."

CONTROL VOLUME
"Alexa, turn up the volume by 30 on Bedroom TV."
"Alexa, turn down the volume by 20 percent on Bedroom TV."
"Alexa, set volume to 20 on Bedroom TV."
"Alexa, mute Bedroom TV."
"Alexa, unmute Bedroom TV."

SET INPUT SOURCE
"Alexa, switch input to HDMI 1."

CHANGE CHANNEL
"Alexa, change channel to 5 on Bedroom TV."
"Alexa, change channel to BBC on Bedroom TV."
"Alexa, next channel."

PLAYBACK CONTROL
"Alexa, play on Bedroom TV."
"Alexa, pause."
"Alexa, next."
"Alexa, fast forward."
"Alexa, rewind."
