Before you can connect Google Assistant with your TCL devices, you need to follow these steps: 1. Download the “TCL Home" app from Google Play or App Store.
2. Sign up or sign in with your TCL account.
3. Setup the device with your “TCL Home" app, and make sure you can control it in the app.
4. Open Google home app (if you haven't install, go Google Play/Apple store to get it), click "+" at the top left, select Set up device list option, choose Works with Google. And then search for "TCL Home" action and enable it by signing in with the same ID you used in the “TCL Home" app..
5. After the setup is finished, you can control the device with Google home. Here are some sample commands you can use for controlling the devices.
- Power on the air conditioner: “OK Google, turn on my ac unit.”
- Power off the air conditioner: “OK Google, turn off my ac unit.”
- Change the mode of air conditioner:
“OK Google, set my ac unit mode to auto.”
“OK Google, set my ac unit mode to dry.”
“OK Google, set my ac unit mode to cool.”
“OK Google, set my ac unit mode to fan.”
- Set the temperature: “OK Google, set my ac unit temperature to 20.”
- Change speed: “OK Google, set my ac unit speed to low.”
“OK Google, set my ac unit speed to middle.”
“OK Google, set my ac unit speed to high.”
