Over the years The Living Memory Association charity has gathered hundreds of hours of audio interviews with magical stories from the 1920s to the 1970s and these will play in a loop on our official internet radio station Thelma FM alongside hosted live shows which will feature our wonderful collection of donated vinyl which we have been kindly gifted over the past 40 years. Alongside the records we will have a variety of fascinating guests live on air talking about the past and brilliant musical visitors to the studio providing live acoustic sets. You are never alone with Thelma FM, someone will always be telling a story or playing a tune!
The Living Memory Association is a reminiscence project based in Edinburgh and established in 1986. We believe that reminiscence can bring people together, regardless of their background or age. It’s a process of sharing, where we learn about other people’s lives. Some life experiences can be unique, others common to us all.
