A skill to get status updates for various modes of public transport, including: Tube lines, National rail services, London Overground, DLR and TFL Rail. There is also the ability to save particular routes or lines to get a more personalised status update!
For a one off query simply ask: "Alexa, ask Travel updates, what's the status of the Victoria line?" or "Alexa, ask Travel updates, what's the status of South Western Railway trains?". For more detailed information and for stations affected please check the Alexa card output for the skill.
For national rail operators, please say the full name of the operator as can be found here: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/tocs_maps/tocs/TrainOperators.aspx
You can also get the status of all tube lines or all national rail lines by asking "Alexa, ask Travel updates, tube status" or "Alexa, ask Travel updates, national rail status".
In order to save a particular line all you have to do is say "Alexa, ask Travel updates, save the Jubilee line". You can save one route at a time and when you say "Alexa, ask Travel updates, what's my status update?" it will give you updates for all of your saved routes. To hear your saved routes ask " what are my saved routes". You can also then remove your saved routes by saying "Alexa, ask Travel updates, remove the Jubilee line".
For more information just say "Alexa, open Travel updates"
All status updates are based on the up to date information from TFL.
