With UbiBot Smart Home skill, you now interact with your UbiBot devices by voice, you can setup routines to use readings from UbiBot temperature sensors as conditions to perform series of actions such as turning on/off the heating and air conditioning. To use this skill, you need to purchase one or more UbiBot devices (these are available at https://www.ubibot.io) and have created an account on the platform. A Wireless UbiBot sensor device can be used to record temperature, humidity, ambient light or other environmental parameters.
Here’s a step by step guide: (1). Download our "UbiBot" app in Google Play or iOS App Store; (2). Launch the app and register a new account (or login if you’re already registered); (3). Turn on UbiBot devices and connect them with “UbiBot” app; (4). IMPORTANT: You can rename the devices with UbiBot App or the web console. So if you rename a smart bulb “Garage sensor”, then Echo will get that same name after discovered the devices in Step 9; (5). Download Amazon "Alexa" app from Amazon Market, Google Play or iOS App Store, and connect Echo with "Alexa" app; (6). Search the Alexa Skills directory for "UbiBot Smart Home"; (7). Click Enable skill of "UbiBot Smart Home", then input your UbiBot account username, password on the linking page; (8). Create an Alexa group, like Garage or Greenhouse, and add the device to the group. (9). Now all setup is done. Try talk to Echo to interact with your device groups or setup smart home routines.
