"What’s it Like" is an educational experience designed to help children build empathy by helping them see and appreciate differences. In the game, families can explore differences related to: language, appearance, vision, hearing, focus, etc. and give them an opportunity to reflect by teaching a robot “What’s it Like” to be different. As fyi, robots don’t have feelings and kids learn by teaching! :)
Each vignette was inspired by a real child so this may be especially for adults to help kids learn how to relate to children with differences in a practical, engaging way.
To skip to a different experience, just say, “skip.”
