Ask Alexa, "which bin" and let your favourite voice assistant tell you which bin was, or is due to be collected this week and what colour bin is being collected next week.
You do need to provide some basic information to set the skill up, which you can do using the voice interface, just say "setup". You will then be asked 3 simple questions:
1. What day your bins get collected? 2. What colour bin was collected last week? 3. What colour bin has been or is being collected this week?
You do the setup once and then Alexa remembers the information for you and keeps track of which bin is due to be collected next so all you have do is open the 'Which Bin' skill and you get the information straight away.
PLEASE NOTE. This skill currently supports fortnightly collection cycles only, for example a Blue (recycling) bin one week and a Black (general refuse) bin the next. We are working on expanding the skill so if you have a different bin cycle then leave us a review and let us know what you need and we'll do our best to add in that functionality.
