This is the official skill for Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio - Music to Quiet Your World. This radio broadcast features thousands of peaceful, serene piano music to bring peace, rest and relaxation into your day. This skill supports both the Whisperings 'free' stream (with ads) and Whisperings PureStream, our commercial-free premium stream for paying subscribers. Once you have enabled the skill, say 'Alexa, play Whisperings Radio' and then follow the prompts to start the stream.

If you know which stream you want, you can use one of the following commands to go directly to the desired stream...

'Alexa, ask Whisperings Radio to...
...play the free stream '
...play PureStream* '
...play the Custom Stream* '

*NOTE that both PureStream and the PureStream Custom Stream require a paid subscription and account linking. If you are a PureStream subscriber, view your Skill Settings to link your account by entering your PureStream username and password. For subscription information, visit solopianoradio.com .

You can pause and restart the streams by saying 'Alexa, ...
...stop'
...pause'
...resume'
...continue'

*These functions are also supported on devices with touch displays.

While listening to the streams, you can hear the current song details by saying 'Alexa, ask Whisperings Radio...
...what's playing?'
...what song is this?'
...who's playing?'

*Song details and album art are also available on devices with a display.

If you have a PureStream account and are tuned into the Custom Stream, you have more commands available to you.
For example, when listening to the Custom Stream, you can say.... 'Alexa, ask Whisperings Radio to ...
...play the next song'
...play the previous song'
...add this song to my favorites'
...remove this song from my favorites'
...add this artist to my favorites'
...remove this artist from my favorites'
...never play this song again!'

If you have a PureStream account and are tuned into the Custom Stream, you can also manage your custom stream settings.
For example, when listening to the Custom Stream, you can say.... 'Alexa, ask Whisperings Radio to...
...turn hymns on'
...turn hymns off'
...turn Christmas music on'
...turn Christmas music off'
