Pair your Alexa device with your Humax YouView box so you can search for your favourite shows using your voice.

You can only search by programme name or by actor/star at the moment, as per the examples shown.

We’ll also be adding more voice commands and more advanced searching soon so stay tuned!

Pairing instructions:
Enabling this skill will pop up a screen asking you for a pairing code from your box (instructions on how to get this code are provided).
After successfully entering a pairing code, close the tab and you will be asked to select your YouView box and then nominate which Alexa-enabled devices should be able to control your YouView box - you most likely want to link only the devices that are within earshot of your TV.
Once you've done that you're free to perform searches any time your box is on.

Please note at the moment you can only pair your device if you have a Humax YouView box but we’ll be releasing to other devices in the future.
