Our take on the alternative format is unlike any other. Along with what’s happening now, 97.1 KVVL will dig deep into the roots of Alternative with New Wave bands like The Cars or Talking Heads and is the home for the great 80s bands like R.E.M., The Cure, and U2.
We will also bring some fun to the station with the Smells Like Lunch show, featuring nothing but the 90's, which he considers the greatest decade in history for Alternative music.
And then stick around for the Five@5. The Five@5 features a different theme every day. One day it could be songs that have the word “Fire” in the song title or songs that mention “beach” in the lyrics. You just never know what the Five@5 will bring, but it sure is a lot of fun!
