By linking up with Amazon Alexa, users of AMP™ Motorization Bridge allow you to open or close shades and blinds by giving out direct voice commands. You can ask Alexa to open or close individual shade/blind or to activate a scene that move a group of shades to pre-set positions.
In order to take advantage of Amazon Alexa voice-control of your AMP™ Motorization shades/blinds, you need: • AMP™ Motorization Account with an AMP™ Bridge registered to the account • An Alexa-enabled device connected to your Amazon account • The Alexa App downloaded and installed on your mobile device
Individual Shade/Blind: To control individual shade/blind, simply say “Alexa, open/close” followed by the AMP™ Motorization Shade name, like: • “Alexa, open Honeycomb 1.” • “Alexa, close Roller 2.” To control individual shade/blind to specific % position, simply say “Alexa, open/close/set” followed by the AMP™ Motorization Shade name, like: • “Alexa, open Honeycomb 1 to 35%.” • “Alexa, set Roller 2 to 50%.” To raise/lower individual shade/blind for 5%, simply say “Alexa, Raise/lower followed by the AMP™ Motorization Shade name, like: • “Alexa, raise Honeycomb 1.” • “Alexa, lower Roller 2.”
Scenes: Once you have designated the Scenes you want to operate with Alexa, simply say “Alexa, turn on” followed by the AMP™ Motorization Scene name to activate the Scene, like: • “Alexa, turn on Good Morning.” • “Alexa, turn on I’m Home.”
If you have multiple Scenes with the same name, but in different Rooms, simply say "Alexa, turn on" followed by the AMP™ Motorization Scene name AND Room name, like:
• “Alexa, turn on Movie time in Living Room.” • “Alexa, turn on Good Morning in Master Bedroom.”
