With the Atmoz skill and Alexa, you can now interact with your Atmoz Wi-Fi thermostat(s) by voice. Use Alexa to quickly set a new temperature or change the temperature by a few degrees.
To get started, select the ‘Enable Skill’ button in the Alexa App to link your Atmoz account and discover your thermostat(s) by saying "Alexa, discover devices" or by pressing the Discover Devices button in the Alexa app. When using the skill, you need to specify by name which thermostat to use. It is important to use the name(s) you set up already – these are shown in the Atmoz app and can be changed in the app as well. It is recommended not to use the word “thermostat” when naming each device. For example, use “Living Room” and NOT “Living Room Thermostat”.
Once you know the name of your thermostat, you can say the following:
- Alexa, set Living Room to 73 degrees. - Alexa, what is the temperature of my Master Bedroom? - Alexa, increase Upstairs by 3 degrees.
