Avalanche Forecast: The First Ever Avalanche Forecast for Amazon Alexa.

Avalanche Forecast uses Avalanche.org to provide you with the latest avalanche information, and it's completely free to use! Additionally, for Washington backcountry lovers only, it can also get the latest issued bottom line information from the Northwest Avalanche Center, also known as NWAC.

FEATURES:

1) Avalanche Forecast can tell you the avalanche danger rating and travel advice for any region in the US. For example, you can say:

"Alexa, ask Avalanche Forecast..."

"...for Stevens Pass avalanche danger."
"...conditions in Mount Shasta"
"...for the avalanche forecast at Vail."

2) Avalanche Forecast can give you a summary of the latest avalanche forecast in your state while telling you where the lowest danger is. Just say:

"Alexa, ask Avalanche Forecast..."

"...for the avalanche information in Montana."
"...what the latest forecast is in New Hampshire."

3) Finally, the skill can get you the latest issued bottom line information for Washington avalanche regions from NWAC. All you need to say is:

"Alexa, ask Avalanche Forecast..."

"...for the bottom line in Olympics."
"...what the bottom line is for Snoqualmie."
"...bottom line at Mount Baker."

Avalanche Forecast can also help you if you are not sure what to say:

1) First, say: "Alexa, open Avalanche Forecast." Listen to the welcome message, and then say: "Help."

2) You can also say: "Alexa, ask Avalanche Forecast to help." or "Alexa, ask Avalanche Forecast what can I ask you?"
