By linking up with Google Assistant, users of the BLISS Bridge allow you to open or close shades and blinds by giving out direct voice commands. You can ask Google Assistant to open or close individual shade/blind or to activate a scene that move a group of shades to pre-set positions.
In order to take advantage of Google Assistant voice-control of your BLISS™ Automated window coverings, you will need:
• BLISS™ Automation by ALTA Account with a BLISS Bridge registered to the account
• A Google Assistant-enabled device connected to your Google account
• The Google Home App downloaded and installed on your mobile device To control individual shade/blind, simply say “OK Google” or “Hey Google” followed by the activation words “Open/Close”, “Turn on/Turn off” and then the BLISS Automation Shade name, like:
• “OK Google, open Honeycomb 1.”
• “Hey Google, close Roller 2.” Once you have designated the Scenes you want to operate with Google Assistant, simply say “OK Google/Hey Google, run/activate” followed by the BLISS Automation Scene name to activate the Scene, like:
• “OK Google, run Good Morning.”
• “Hey Google, activate I’m Home.” Below are some tips for success when voice-control your BLISS Automation Scenes using Google Assistant: - Make sure Scene names are unique - Make your Scene names easy to pronounce For more information on BLISS™ Automation by Alta products, visit: www.altawindowfashions.com
