By linking up with Amazon Alexa, users of the BLISS Bridge allow you to open or close shades and blinds by giving out direct voice commands. You can ask Alexa to open or close individual shade/blind or to activate a scene that move a group of shades to pre-set positions.
In order to take advantage of Amazon Alexa voice-control of your BLISS™ Automated window coverings, you will need: • BLISS™ Automation by ALTA Account with a BLISS Bridge registered to the account • An Alexa-enabled device connected to your Amazon account • The Alexa App downloaded and installed on your mobile device
Individual Shade/Blind: To control individual shade/blind, simply say “Alexa, open/close” followed by the BLISS Automation Shade name, like: • “Alexa, open Honeycomb 1.” • “Alexa, close Roller 2.” To control individual shade/blind to specific % position, simply say “Alexa, open/close/set” followed by the BLISS Automation Shade name, like: • “Alexa, open Honeycomb 1 to 35%.” • “Alexa, set Roller 2 to 50%.” To raise/lower individual shade/blind for 5%, simply say “Alexa, Raise/lower followed by the BLISS Automation Shade name, like: • “Alexa, raise Honeycomb 1.” • “Alexa, lower Roller 2.”
Scenes: Once you have designated the Scenes you want to operate with Alexa, simply say “Alexa, turn on” followed by the BLISS Automation Scene name to activate the Scene, like: • “Alexa, turn on Good Morning.” • “Alexa, turn on I’m Home.”
