Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch

Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch is a fun way of hearing about some of the Overwatch information you need. We have some cool features that we think you will enjoy:

-- Your personal Overwatch stats
-- Random hero picker with hero information
-- Upcoming Overwatch League match information
-- Overwatch League teams standings
-- Be served a cold one =P

We create a personalized experience for you as an Overwatch player to get you the information you need quickly and easily. Since we create a personalized experience, this skill requires that you link your Battle.net account. We only have access to the battle tag and do not share any information with any third party in any case. Please ensure that your profile in Overwatch is set to public, otherwise we will not be able to get your stats. In order to get your most up to date stats please exit Overwatch if you have it open. Note that if you are actively playing it will not get the up to date stats until you exit Overwatch altogether.

How to link your battle.net account (easiest method):
1. Ask your Alexa enabled device the following to begin: "Alexa, open blizzard tavern".
2. Alexa will tell you that you need to link your account and it will send you a card to the Alexa app.
3. Using your mobile phone, open the Alexa app and on the home section you should see the "Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch" card with the "Link Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch Account" option.
4. Select the "Link Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch account" option.
5. This will take you to the Battle.net website to login. Once this does, log in how you normally do in battle.net. Once you login, you should see "Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch has been successfully linked." message then select Done and close the Alexa app.
6. If your Overwatch profile is set to public already then you are ready to use the Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch skill. Ask your Alexa enabled device the following to begin: "Alexa, open blizzard tavern" and enjoy!
7. If your Overwatch profile is not set to public, follow the "How to set your profile as public in Overwatch" instructions below.


How to link your battle.net account (alternate method):

1. Using your mobile phone, open the Alexa app or download the Alexa app from your phone's app store and open the app.
2. Select "More" in the bottom menu.
3. Select "Skills & Games" in the listing.
4. Select the magnifying glass in the top right corner and search for "Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch" and hit search.
5. Select "Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch" in the search results.
6. Select the "Launch" or "Enable" button.
7. This will take you to the Battle.net website to login. Once this does, log in how you normally do in Overwatch. Once you login, you should see "Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch has been successfully linked." message then select Done and close the Alexa app.
8. If your Overwatch profile is set to public already then you are ready to use the Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch skill. Ask your Alexa enabled device the following to begin: "Alexa, open blizzard tavern" and enjoy!
9. If your Overwatch profile is not set to public, follow the instructions below.

How to set your profile as public in Overwatch:

1. Open the Overwatch game and login.
2. Once loading has finished, click Options in the menu start screen.
3. Click Social in the top navigation.
4. Under the Text Chat section, you should see Career Profile Visibility, click the arrow until you select "Public".
5. Navigate back to the main menu and exit the game.
6. You are ready to use the Blizzard Tavern - Overwatch skill. Ask your Alexa enabled device the following to begin: "Alexa, open blizzard tavern" and enjoy!
