The purpose of nautical data is to provide users with a quick and easy medium for obtaining data about NOAA buoys. Available data for buoys consists of wave height, period and water temperature. After opening nautical data, users can obtain information by stating "buoy report for buoy id" where the buoy id is the name or identifier for a NOAA buoy. The supported buoys come from buoy sources NDBC and IOOS Partners.
