Carbon Buddy helps you work out how much carbon you release when driving a car journey. In addition, Carbon Buddy can calculate the cost of purchasing a Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) to offset against the carbon release. This calculator assumes the use of unleaded petrol in a car with an average fuel efficiency of 25 MP. RECs are calculated in USD using the Cloverly API.
