ChemVox performs real-time quantum chemistry calculations from a voice command and returns the results in seconds.
Main Features: • Calculate the dipole moment of a molecule • Compute the excitation energy of a molecule • Determine the solvatochromic shift (|water -gas|) of a molecule • Choose from thousands of organic compounds • Perform calculations in your choice of solvent or in gas phase • Receive an email with the results of your calculations (if the permission is granted)
Instructions: • Say “Alexa, Open Chem Vox” to enable the skill • Ask “What properties can you compute?” to learn what ChemVox can do • Ask “What solvents do you have?” to learn what solvents are available • Ask “What level of theory are you using?” to learn what level of theory is used for the calculations • Prompt Alexa to compute a given property of a molecule in a solvent of your choice (e.g. "What is the dipole moment of water in gas?" ; "Tell me the absorption maximum of benzene in water"; "compute the solvatochromic shift of retinal") • To close the session, say “Good bye”
