A fast, convenient, and efficient way to make decisions either alone, or with co-workers, friends or family. Identify alternatives and their pros and cons so you can see a clear picture of what is best. Users can create and store new decisions and add alternatives with pros and cons for each alternative. Users can ask for the status of the decision and the status of each of the alternatives. No longer will someone forget what alternative one was by the time they get to considering alternative three or four. They can just ask for the status of the entire decision or any one of the alternatives to hear the pros and cons. Faster and better decisions result from structuring the alternatives with pros and cons so that communicating the tradeoffs becomes clear to everyone involved. Alternatives that may not have been considered without this skill are often discovered and a better decision emerges with the process. For example, a dentist would use this skill with a patient to present alternatives for how to treat a tooth. Alternatives might be to fill the tooth, cap tooth, or replace the tooth with an implant. Pros and cons of the alternatives related to cost, time to complete, and expected life of the repair/replacement serve as the basis for making the choice. A user can create workgroups of decisions as folders and ask for a list of all workgroups, decisions within a workgroup, alternatives within a decision, and the pros and cons of any alternative. Say “Choose now” to start. On the first skill launch, Alexa will ask for your first name and create an account and default workgroup, so you can work with your projects from any Alexa device, which uses the same amazon account. Next step will be to create a new decision, just say "Create new decision" and provide a name for the decision, so you can find it later. Now you can start to create your alternatives, say "Add an alternative" and provide a name for it. When you create several alternatives you can say "review decision" to get a list of all created alternatives within an active decision. You can also say: “create workgroup”, “new decision”, ”status”, “list alternatives”, “list decisions”, “list workgroups”, “select decision one”, “select workgroup one”, “select alternative one”, “add pro”, “add con”, “tell me more about alternative one”, “alternative status”, "rename alternative one" or “help”. To delete your account and all your decisions say “unregister me”. Decisions can range from the almost trivial – such as where to go for lunch or what movie to watch tonight – to crucial business decisions such as who to hire for an executive position -- to multi million-dollar source selection decisions. A decision can be exported for analysis with one of the many Analytic Hierarchy Process decision tools now available that prioritize objectives with pairwise comparisons, evaluate the preferences of the alternatives with respect to each of the objectives, and perform sensitivity analysis to not only make the best decision, but convince others you are right.
