D-Fend and Alexa now let you monitor and manage your home network's security with the power of your voice. With D-Fend, just ask Alexa to help you keep your network, your devices, and your family safe from internet security threats:
- Get your network's current status, or find out how many devices are connected to your network.
- Check if you have any unread notifications.
- Perform a scan for any network vulnerabilities, and retrieve the results of a vulnerability scan.
- Block and unblock devices which are connected to your network.
- Pause the internet for all of your kids, or just certain kids when they've had enough screen time or there's chores to do. And then resume when they're allowed back online.

Before you begin, you will need:
- An Alexa Voice Service enabled device.
- An D-Fend-supported D-Link router.
- The D-Link Wi-Fi and D-Fend apps installed on your mobile device with a registered D-Link Wi-Fi account.
