To use this Google Smarthome Action you will have to install the Daikin Residential Controller App (same logo) and add your units to the Daikin ecosystem using this app. When this is done you can add this action to add voice control to your Daikin heating and cooling system. The unit/room names are the voice commands are based on the unit/room names in the App (e.g. Living room). Changing these names in the App will also change them in the voice control commands. The following features can be controlled with voice commands:
- Unit on/off
- Change the operation mode of the unit - Change the requested room temperature
- Change the fan speed of the unit (AC only)
- Ask the current status (room temperature, operation mode, fan speed) Voice control examples:
- Hey Google, Turn on Living Room
- Hey Google, Set Living room to heating
- Hey Google, Set Living room to 22 degrees
- Hey Google, Make it warmer in my Living room
- Hey Google, What is the temperature of my Living room?
