Dialog Personal Assistant is the voice assistant of Dialog Axiata PLC, the premier telecommunications service provider in Sri Lanka. Dialog Personal Assistant will assist users with information related to their Dialog Mobile Account & Dialog Television. To render these services, users simply need to configure their mobile number to their account. Upon successful verification, users can receive assistance with a plethora of Dialog-related services and tasks.
Any user with a Dialog mobile account can get the assistance of Dialog to find their account related information.
Follow these steps to configure your mobile number,
Step 1: say "Alexa, open Dialog" then say "Save my number", Then, after Alexa prompts for the number, say your mobile number digit by digit E.g. zero seven seven seven one two three four five six
Step 2: You will receive a PIN via SMS to the Dialog mobile number you said in the previous step. Tell that pin to Alexa to complete the configuration process. say "I got the PIN", Then after Alexa prompts for the PIN, read out the PIN digit by digit
E.g., I got the PIN Then, after Alexa prompts, say the PIN digit-by-digit E.g.: 1-2-3-4-5-6
After successfully configuring you number with Alexa, you will receive a confirmation via SMS.
Step 3: After configuring your mobile number, you can ask Dialog Personal Assistant the following;
To check your unbilled usage, Alexa, ask Dialog what is my unbilled usage or, while the skill is open, simply ask "what is my balance?"
To check your outstanding bill ask "What is my outstanding balance?"
To check what's playing now on any Dialog TV channel ask, What's on <Dialog TV channel> E.g. What's on BBC World?
To check what's playing next on any DTV channel, What's playing next on <Dialog TV channel> E.g. What's playing next on BBC World?
To get your saved Dialog number ask, What is my phone number?
Additionally, after configuring your number, you also can directly say to Alexa "Alexa, ask Dialog what is my balance?" to get your balance, or say "Alexa, ask Dialog what's on Discovery Channel?" etc.
