Don't Explode is a challenging guessing game. Each turn, you guess the order and color of wires to cut. When asked for a guess, you simply guess the four colors (ex. "Red Blue Red Blue"). The bomb maker will tell you which positions you have correct and if you have any colors correct that are in the wrong position. You then use that information to inform your future guesses. The bomb maker sends your guesses to the Alexa app, and it can be very helpful to check your previous guesses. You can also ask "What was my last guess" Alternatively, you can add a level of difficulty by trying to remember. If you run out of guesses, the bomb will explode.
The difficulty levels are: Very Easy - 8 turns, 2 colors Easy - 10 turns, 3 colors Medium - 6 turns, 3 colors Hard - 8 turns, 4 colors Very Hard - 4 turns, 4 colors
The game always opens with the Medium setting unless you change it at the beginning of each new game. You can also specify the number of turns or colors; a maximum of 10 of each.
