The Dyslexia Awareness Skill is a professional development series providing instruction specific to the fundamentals of dyslexia and reading challenges in children. Individuals who successfully finish this skill will be awarded a certificate of completion that may be submitted for professional development credit. Those who have completed the skill are advised to contact their state licensing agency to determine if and how this PD may be counted toward re-licensure credit. While this skill is intended for k-12 educators, it will also support parents, care givers, educational administrators, para professionals, service providers, etc. in developing a basic understanding of dyslexia and reading challenges.
