You've always been able to ask Alexa to control your ecobee device(s). Now you can ask it to control your ecobee home monitoring solution and your ecobee cameras. Want more control of your ecobee thermostat(s)? You can also enable the 'ecobee plus' skill from the Skills Store.
Start by selecting the "Enable Skill" button on the Alexa app. That links your ecobee account to Alexa, and enables it to discover your device(s) and homes. Find further instructions and more information at http://amzn.to/291lR7u.
To use the skill, you'll need to specify by name which device, sensor or home to use. You can refer to them in two ways: * Individually, by the name that you've already set up on your ecobee device. * By group (such as Bedroom or Downstairs), which you can set up using Alexa. Instructions and more information can be found at http://amzn.to/2965dCE.
