Edifier Smart Connect offers the most comprehensive voice-controlled music playback experience with Alexa. Experience hands free control of your Edifier speakers with Alexa. Just say what music and on which speaker you want to play it, the skill and speaker will do the rest.
Here's a step by step guide:
(1). Search "Edifier Smart Connect" in the Alexa Skills directory;
(2). Enable the skill "Edifier Smart Connect", then log in the IoT account under which your speaker has been registered, the cloud based link is set up by doing this; If you don’t have an IoT account, please download “Edifier Home” App to set up one with the speaker.
(3). Click the “Discover Devices” button in the pop-up dialog box, then an “Alexa is discovering devices” line will be displayed on the screen. When the discovery process is successfully done, the speaker will be shown on the Smart Home page under “Devices” group. You can also do this by clicking the “Add Device” button in the Smart Home page. This process carries out an app to device link probation, and needs to be done before the device can be used.
(4). After the setup is done, try to talk to Echo to control your devices.
Here are the voice commands: (“Living Room” is the name you assigned to the speaker)
* Alexa play music on Living Room
* Alexa next on Living Room
* Alexa Alexa turn up the volume by 2 on Living Room
