Mycontrol allows Hey Google to help you manage your smart products and scenes using just your voice. Voice control with mycontrol action is easy to set up, by following the simple steps below. Getting started: 1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap on “+” > “Set up device” > “Works with Google”.
3. Tap on “search icon” at top right of screen, and enter “EGLO mycontrol”.
4. Tap to add “EGLO mycontrol”.
5. Type in your EGLO mycontrol username and password, then tap “Log in”.
6. Select “EGLO mycontrol > Link Now > Authorize.
7. Tap “Close” and follow the prompts to discover your individual devices. How to Control Your EGLO Mycontrol Devices
To turn your device/s or groups on or off, simply use your wake word (in most cases “Hey Google”), and use the name of the device in the EGLO mycontrol app. For example, if your kitchen light is called “Kitchen” in the EGLO mycontrol app, simply say: “Hey Google, turn on Kitchen”. Different mycontrol products have varying voice control features, for example, most lighting products can be dimmed, or change colour via voice control. The Hey Google app allows you to create ‘routines’ or ‘scenes’ that uses your mycontrol device/s, and can be activated through voice control. You can also discover existing scenes from the EGLO mycontrol app. For example, you might set up a routine for going to bed, “Hey Google, bedtime”, which can turn off all lights.
