With the EMTHINGS Smart Home skill for Alexa, you can control your EMTHINGS Smart Switch System through voice commands using Amazon Echo devices.

To get started, select ‘Enable Skill’ button in the Alexa App to link your EMTHINGS account and discover your smart switches. Find more information about connecting Smart Home devices at http://amzn.to/291lR7u.

When using the skill, you need to specify name by which a switch will be addressed. For this,
- You need to set a unique name of the Switch System Module (like "Living Room") using EMTHINGS App.
- Using EMTHINGS App, name every switch point corresponding to the lighting or appliance it is controlling. For example, a switch name can be 'Fan', 'Light', 'TV', and 'AC' etc.


Once you know the name, you can control the switches using the Alexa voice commands.

Few examples:
- To turn on Living Room Fan, say "Alexa, turn on Living Room Fan"
- To turn off Living Room AC, say "Alexa, turn off Living Room AC"
- To dim the Bedroom Light, say "Alexa, set the Bedroom Light to 50 percent"
- To increase the Kitchen Light, say "Alexa, brighten the Kitchen Light by 20 percent"
