Welcome to Ergonomyx Companion skill. This skill will let you ask Alexa to control your connected Ergonomyx smart devices – such as the Ergonomyx standing desk and bike – by voice.
With this skill, you can set a height for your standing desk, and request a list of your analytics or statistics for the connected devices. Alexa voice commands let you raise and lower your desks, and request information like the number of calories burned through using the desk or bike.
TO GET STARTED: Enable the skill from the Alexa skill store, open the Ergonomyx Voice Companion skill in your echo app and go to the settings menu to link your Alexa account to your Ergonomyx account. You’ll need to enter your Ergonomyx username and password here, once linked you will have full access to all of the functionality of this skill. (account linking is not necessary to be able to control the desk/bike)
You'll be able to control bluetooth devices that you have connected to the mobile device running the Alexa application.
Here’s a handy list of voice commands you can use with our Alexa skill to control your Desk and Bike: (all units are in imperial) "Alexa, ask Ergonomyx to raise my desk by 10" "Alexa, ask Ergonomyx to lower my desk by 10" "Alexa, ask Ergonomyx to set my desk to sitting position" "Alexa, ask Ergonomyx to set my desk to standing position" "Alexa, ask Ergonomyx to set my desk to biking position" "Alexa, ask Ergonomyx for my weekly bike time" "Alexa, ask Ergonomyx for my daily bike time" "Alexa, ask Ergonomyx for my settings"
