By linking up with Alexa, users of Gaviota Wi-Fi Bridge (and motors) can now open or close motorized rolling shutters, drapers, venetians or awnings by giving out direct voice commands to Alexa. You can ask Alexa to open or close an individual rolling shutter or awning, or activating a scene that moves a group of rolling shutters/awnings to pre-determined positions. A few tips for users: You will need to configure a Gaviota Wi-Fi Bridge (or a Gaviota Wi-Fi Motor) together with GAVIOTA’s App first before enabling the Alexa Action. Please create an account, setup devices/shades and scenes properly in the Gaviota App, making sure a plain and distinctive name is assigned to shades and scenes, for clear recognition with voice commands. To establish link-up with Alexa, you will be requested to submit to Alexa, Gaviota account info, email address and password.
