This action enables voice control for GO home automation products via Google Home devices. In order to use this action the GO automation products must be fully installed and configured in the GO app, by a GO automation installer.
Contact us on support@goautomate.in for any further queries. The following are the steps for the same:-
1.) The automation system installer installs the GO automation hardware and sets up the app to allow control of the same.
2.) Account linking is carried out as per the Account Linking instructions of the ACTION USER MANUAL link https://www.goautomate.in/voice/govoice_google.pdf
3.) Once account linking is successful and completed as per the instructions the GO app will asynchronously send all the new devices and scenes to be discovered. When any changes to scenes / devices / names etc. are made in the app it will automatically be updated.
4.) Devices and scenes can be viewed in the Google Home app.
5.) Devices can be controlled as per the Go Voice Action examples stated in the Action USER MANUAL link at https://www.goautomate.in/voice/govoice_google.pdf
6.) Device / lamp and scene names given in the GO app should be made with care to allow clear and concise differentiation when controlling the same. Lighting Devices are fully 2 way and manual or app control updates the cloud and Homegraph server.
AC devices. are all controlled via Infra red commands that are 1 way but the IR blaster updates the device state to the cloud so that the status of the AC can be queried using this quasi feedback method. However using a manual remote may cause a loss of state synchronization.
AC and Media devices such as Tvs / Blu rays players / Receivers etc. are all controlled via Infra red commands that are 1 way and cannot be queried.
