To communicate with Google Smart Home, you need an Internet Access Bridge in your HALO Home network. The Bridge translates the Bluetooth messages of the HALO Home system into the Wi-fi messages used by Google Home. The HALO Home Bridge also enables you to control your lighting from anywhere in the world. To get started, please follow these steps. 1) Use the HALO Home Mobile App to add the Bridge to your account and configure the Wi-fi settings. 2) Open the Google Smart Home App, go to Home Control, click "+" and find "HALO Home Smart Lighting System.”
3) Enter your HALO Home username and password to link your account and to sync your compatible devices. Tip: Keep names short and simple without numbers. Long names are more difficult for Google Smart Home to understand and synchronize. Once you have customized the names of your devices, groups or scenes, you can use the following commands (and many more): "Okay Google, turn on 'coffee pot'"
"Okay Google, set the 'office lights' to 50%"
"Okay Google, dim/brighten the 'entry way lights'"
"Okay Google, turn on the 'after hours' scene" Find more information about setting up your Google Home with your Halo Home system here: www.eaton.com/halohome
