Hank Connect, a skill. It can control Hank-tech's device, light with wireless WiFi. To use your Amazon Echo with your Hank Connect, make sure you have the latest Alexa app on your device, you have your Hank Connect, and activate the Hank Connect Skill. This will require your Hank-tech app account username and password to authorize Alexa to access your devices.
To get started, select the "Enable Skill" button in the Alexa App to link your Hank-tech account. When using the skill. you need to specify by name which device to use. You can set the devices's name in Hank-tech app which controls your devices. You can find the exact Hank-tech app name in your product user manual.
Your Hank Connect now talk directly to the Amazon Echo through the Alexa. You can control your Hank Connect with simple statements like:
Alexa, ask hank connect and turn on room Alexa, ask hank connect and turn off room Alexa, ask hank connect and set room to blue Alexa, ask hank connect and turn on/off the <device' name>
Remarks: When you say Alexa to wake up Alexa and say Hank Connect to enter skill, you will enter the session mode, you don't have to wake up Alexa and get into this skill.
For example: Alexa, ask hank connect, turn on the room, turn off the room, bye.
