The HOMYHUB skill for Alexa allows you to control the HOMYHUB devices in your house with Amazon Echo and other enabled devices where Alexa is installed (Smartphone, Smartwatch, Tablet, Laptops, Cars or other devices).
Once you have a HOMYHUB Virtual Remote from a door, you can connect your HOMYHUB App with Alexa. For this, follow the steps that indicated below:
- In the Alexa App, search in the Skill Store for the "HOMYHUB" Skill, - Enable the Skill: Log in with your HOMYHUB account, select the doors you want to control and allow access. - Now make the Alexa App Scan for devices to connect, and once found add your HOMYHUB device.
Now your doors are connected with Alexa! For last, to be able to Open from the Alexa App or to Ask Alexa to Open or Close the Door you need to:
- In the Alexa App, go to your HOMYHUB device settings, - Enable to Open from the App and/or Open with your voice.
That's it, now you can:
- Open or close the door (PIN required) - Ask the status of your door, to know if is open or close.
All of the above control features through the following voice commands:
- "Alexa, close my door" - "Alexa, open the door" - "Alexa, is the door open?"
With this integration, you can unlock the full potential of your door with HOMYHUB and Alexa in a simple and secure way.
