Honeywell Home (formerly Honeywell Lyric)
Description
With the Honeywell Home skill and Alexa, you can interact with your Honeywell Home ecosystem with your voice and routines.
This skill is compatible with Round Smart Thermostat, T-Series Smart Thermostats, C1 and C2 Wi-Fi Security Cameras, Water Leak & Freeze Detector, Smart Home Security, and any attached Z-Wave Lights/Outlets/Switches. If you have a Total Connect Comfort (TCC) Wi-Fi thermostat, please use the Total Connect Comfort skill.
Latest updates:
- T9 and T10 Smart Room Sensor control: once you set up a sensor in the bedroom, ask Alexa to set the bedroom to 72 degrees, and T9 or T10 will switch to 'selected rooms' mode, and start prioritizing the bedroom.
To get started, select the ‘Enable Skill’ button in the Alexa App to link your Honeywell Home account and discover your thermostat(s). Learn more about connecting smart home devices at Connect a Smart Home Device to Alexa (http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home).
When using the skill, you need to specify by name which thermostat/sensor to use. There are two ways to define this/these names:
- Use the name(s) you set up already – these are shown and can be changed in the Honeywell Home app, or
- Create an Alexa group, like Bedroom or Downstairs, and add the thermostat and/or one or more devices to the group. More information is available at Create a Smart Home Device Group (http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home-groups)
Once you know the name or group of your device, you can say the following: “Alexa, decrease the Bedroom by 3 degrees”, or “Alexa, set Downstairs temperature to 72”.
The full list of commands is below:
