Adjust your I3 WiFi thermostat with the comfort of talking to Alexa!
Please ensure thermostat is connected and can be controlled using either the I3 app or I3 website (www.captouchwifi.com)
By simply giving Alexa access to your existing I3 WiFi account, Alexa can easily discover your I3 WiFi thermostat by either selecting “Discover Devices” in the Alexa app or by asking Alexa to discover new devices. Once the I3 WiFi thermostat has been discovered, Alexa will be able to adjust your comfort level from anywhere in the home.
Try saying:
1. “Alexa, raise {thermostat’s name} by 1 degree” 2. “Alexa, lower {thermostat’s name} by 1 degree” 3. “Alexa, set {thermostat’s name} temperature to 76”
Note: For Alexa to accurately control the I3 WiFi thermostat please ensure the thermostat is configured for either cool mode or heat mode. Auto mode will not be recognized by the Alexa skill!
