Welcome to IKEA Home smart. This skill will enable you to ask Alexa to control your connected IKEA Home smart devices—such as TRÅDFRI, FLOALT, LEPTITER, FYRTUR and KADRILJ—by voice.

You can choose a light for early mornings, another for late evenings and a third for cooking or working at home, all by using only your voice. Alexa voice commands let you dim, turn off and on and switch your TRÅDFRI bulbs from warm to cold light. Now you can control blinds with your voice, too—open and lower them all the way, or to your preferred percentage.

TO GET STARTED:
Open the IKEA Home smart app and go to the settings menu to activate Amazon Alexa. You’ll need to enter your Amazon username and password here. Then select the 'Enable Skill' button in the Alexa App to link the “IKEA Home smart skill” with your Amazon account.

Then you can discover your devices by saying “Alexa, discover my devices” or by using the Alexa app.

Here’s a quick list of voice commands you can use with Alexa and IKEA Home smart app to control the lighting in your home:
• Alexa, open the Bedroom blinds
• Alexa, lower the blinds to 40%
• Alexa, dim the Living Room lights
• Alexa, dim the Living Room lights to 25%
• Alexa, make the Living Room lights softer
• Alexa, brighten the Kitchen lights
• Alexa, brighten the Kitchen lights to 75%
• Alexa, make the Kitchen lights warmer
