The KitchenAid Connected Ovens skill makes it easy to interact with, control, and monitor your KitchenAid connected oven using Amazon Alexa. As long as you registered your KitchenAid oven and have access to WiFi, you can link your KitchenAid account to Amazon Alexa for simple, seamless voice interaction.
To get the most out of your KitchenAid connected oven, ensure it is set for Remote Enabled. If Remote Enabled is not active, some Alexa remote commands will not function (example: preheating the oven). To activate, press the Remote Enable button beneath the Options menu on the oven control panel.
Try saying:
Alexa, tell KitchenAid to preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Alexa, tell KitchenAid to set the upper oven timer for 10 minutes. Alexa, ask KitchenAid for time remaining on the oven timer. Alexa, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Alexa, set the oven to bake at 400 degrees.
