You can play Never Ending or Scored games where play Alexa to a target score. To even things out, you can gain more points by matching 5 in a row and even more points by matching on 5 last letters in a row.
You can pick from the following categories:
• Foods • Animals • Cities (U.S.) • Actors • Movies • Sports Teams
Crowdsourced improvements: Extensive work has been put to make each category's answer list is complete as possible. But on top of that, answers from users that are not found are logged and regularly reviewed to be added in order to continuously improve the answer datastore for each category.
Matching Examples:
Foods The foods category matches the first letter of the first word in your food, to any of the letters in Alexa's word(s). If Alexa says eggs, the starting letter of your word can start from any of the letters in the word eggs (E, G, or S). So you could pick either English muffin, or grapes, or soup, as your answer.
Animals The animals category matches the first letter of the first word in your animal, to any of the letters in my answer. So if Alexa says centipede and you say emperor penguin, the E in emperor penguin is the only letter that would be attempted to be used to match, which in this case would match one of the E letters in the word centipede.
Cities (U.S.) The cities category matches the first letter of your city to any letters in either the city, full state name, or state abbreviation in Alexa's answer. So if Alexa says Eden Valley, MN you can say Tucson, AZ to match the T in Minnesota, or, Evergreen, CO to match an E, in Eden Valley. When saying your city you need to follow it with the state. If you leave out the state, then Alexa will give you a chance to guess which is the correct state from three choices.
Actors The actors category matches the first letter of any of the names in your answer, to any of the letters in my answer. So if Alexa says Tom Hanks, you could say Harrison Ford to match H in Harrison to Hanks. And if Alexa says Michael J. Fox, you would also be able to use Harrison Ford since the F in Ford mathces to Fox (and the H in Harrison matches to the H in Michael).
Movies The movies category matches the first letter of the first word in your movie title, to any of the letters in Alexa's answer. If the movie you say starts with the article, The, it will match with either the T in The, or the first letter of the next word in the movie title. So if you said the movie, The Princess Bride, it would match to either one of the Ts in Back to the Future, or, to the P in Jurassic Park.
Sports Teams The sports teams category matches the first letter of the first word in your sports team, to any of the letters in Alexa's answer. You can say the full team name that includes the city or region with the team name, so for example you can say New England Patriots which means you would be matching on the starting letter of N. Or you can say just the team name, such as Patriots and have the match based on the letter P. For example, the N in New England Patriots would match San Francisco Giants, but if you just said Patriots, there would be no match because there is no P in San Francisco Giants.
