This skill helps you to control your smart home, by connecting to our LinkUp Hub and paired with the LinkUp Control app. 1. Register/sign in to your LinkUp Control App after downloading it from the Apple App Store / Google Play Store. 2. Add device
Make sure the smart devices are displaying correctly in your LinkUp Control App and that you can remotely control/access it via external networks (3G/4G/5G). 3. Enable skill
In Alexa App, search and enable the skill “LinkUp Smart Home”. Then follow the wizard to link your Amazon account to your LinkUp account.
Once account linking process is successful, discover devices in Alexa App or say “Alexa, discover devices”. NOTE: You need to discover device again in Alexa App if one of the following changes were made:
-Smart devices are added or deleted,
-The device has been reset. 4. Control your devices by voice
When using the skill, you will need to specify the name in which the device is to be controlled.
For example, if you named one of your devices “Lamp”, you will say: “Alexa, turn off Lamp.” Troubleshooting:
-If Alexa returns a reply saying that the device isn’t responding, this would likely indicate that your LinkUp Smart Hub or the smart device is offline. Please try to access the device in the LinkUp Control App. You can also get our support by:
