mailSpeak displays and reads incoming New mail.
After receiving an email, activate the skill by saying "Alexa, read emailSpeak" to read it aloud. Quick FAQ:
Q: What email address do you receive emails from?
A: You will receive it at the email address that is automatically issued when you newly register for mailSpeak. Q: Is it possible to read out new mail automatically?
A: We are preparing another skill to support it in the future. Q: Where can I check my email address and reception settings?
A: You can check by registering or logging in from the URL https://mailSpeak.jp. Q: Do you read emojis and attachments aloud?
A: Currently, we do not support the following.
- HTML email (reads out HTML tags as well)
- Emojis and special characters (spoken as decoded symbols)
- MIME attachment (Email may not be processed and "There is no email") Procedure:
1) Enable mailSpeak and link your accounts.
*Account linking requires a mailSpeak account.
*You can create a new account. 2) Send the email you want to read to the receiving email address of mailSpeak. 3) When you invoke the skill by saying "Alexa, start mailSpeak", the mail will be read aloud. Various settings for reading mail can be made on the detailed setting screen of mailSpeak. Overview:
- Every time mailSpeak is started, it reads out one mail from the new arrival and ends.
・If you start mailSpeak again when there is no new mail, the previous mail will be read aloud. (Maximum 100 cases)
- Supports voice reading and text display for Alexa with a screen (including Fire tablet).
・Please log in to mailSpeak and set the mail reception filter, read aloud, and display content conditions (speed, how many lines to read, skip conditions, etc.). Note:
・Please do not disclose your assigned email address. If we receive a large amount of e-mail, we may reject it without prior notice. ・mailSpeak may not be decoded correctly depending on the multi-part mail structure and the type of encoding.
(In that case, even if it is received, it may be processed as "There is no mail") ・The reading voice can be changed in Alexa's description language, but it seems that the character size of the display cannot be changed at present, so the display content is limited on small screen devices such as echo show5. *Using echo show 15 is recommended. ・In the case of Fire tablet, it seems that it can be used horizontally by setting echo show mode. support:
・Since it is free, it is not in principle.
・Please send bugs and positive requests to query@mailSpeak.jp. *In principle, we do not reply.
