The Marvin Home app allows you to customize and operate a connected Marvin Awaken Skylight, including integration of voice commands through your existing Alexa products. Use the app or voice commands to to open the unit for fresh air, turn the skylight’s supplemental lighting on and off, change supplemental lighting temperature to match your needs, move shade up and down or schedule pre-set modes to customize your daily experience and find the optimal light at the right time to support your daily rhythms.
To get started, download the Marvin Home app in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Register for a new account, create a household, and use Bluetooth to connect to your Marvin Awaken skylight(s). Once connected over Bluetooth, connect the skylight(s) to a nearby WiFi network and complete the onboarding process. In the Settings page of your mobile app, you will see instructions to link your Marvin Home account to a smart home automation provider, such as Amazon Alexa.
By completing the smart home automation integration, you can use your Amazon Alexa app or physical products (e.g. speakers) to control your Marvin Awaken skylight(s) over the Cloud.
