Master Blaster

Master Blaster is a quiz styled cricket match based on facts and trivia related to cricket. You start at level 1, competing with random people around the world to win matches and earn XP(Experience Points) in order get promoted to the next level. Your target is to win as many matches as possible and become the master blaster.

There is also an option to practice in the nets before a match. However, the player earns no XP(experience points) during net practice.

Rules:

1. After you opt to play a match, Alexa will search for a random opponent for you to play against based on your level.
2. You will be given a target of runs that you need to score in order to win based on the score of your opponent.
3. Every match will have a total of 5 overs or 30 questions.
4. Each over will consist of 6 questions related to a particular category.
5. The type or category of questions will keep changing after every over.
6. Each correct answer you give will fetch you some runs and each incorrect response will result in the fall of a wicket.
7. To win the match, you need to score more than your opponent before the end of five overs or fall of all 10 wickets.
8. You will earn experience points or XP during the match for things like runs scored, sixes hit, winning a match etc.
9. Once you gain a certain amount of XP, you will be promoted to the next level.
10. The target score and difficulty of questions will increase as you level up.

Scoring Mechanism:

1. Scoring is based on the number of correct answers you give in continuity.
2. For the first correct answer, you get 1 run.
3. For the second consecutive correct answer you get 2 runs.
4. For the third consecutive correct answer you get 4 runs.
5. For the fourth consecutive correct answer you get 6 runs.
6. For each correct consecutive answer after this, you get 6 runs.
7. If you lose a wicket any time in between by giving an incorrect answer, the streak breaks and you start from point 1 again.
