If you’ve never heard about homophones, Mastering Homophones is the way to go. Geared towards ESL learning, this quiz game helps players of all age groups learn about homophones and trains them to use these words in daily communication. There are two games. One is “Guess the definition”, where players must choose the option that perfectly aligns with the meaning of the homophone. The other is “Pick a homophone”, which requires you to complete the blank part of the sentence with an apt homophone by understanding the context. The app also provides a basic lesson on what homophones are, for the uninitiated.
Once you’ve enabled this app on your Alexa device, just say “Alexa, open Mastering Homophones” and use the following commands:
