MindAI Robot skill allow you to control HVAC devices with Amazon Alexa. You can use the skill to turn on/off the thermostat, change the temperature/mode of the thermostat, and check the current temperature of the room.

MindAI Robot skill is published to all countries and regions where Amazon distributes skills. It now supports English language and other languages are under development.

Here is a short checklist of how to use the skill:

1. Search the skill in Amazon skill store with keyword “MindAI Robot”.

2. Enable the skill and link your account.
For example, my account of “MindAI Robot” App is:

Your should enter the account information to the input fields in the “MicroNature Authorization” web page correctly as below.

3. Discover device
“Alexa, discover my devices”
This allows Alexa to discover the devices under the linked account.

4. Controlling HVAC device

You can ask the Alexa to control HVAC device, including:
—Turn on/off thermostat
—Adjust the target temperature of the thermostat
—Set thermostat mode
—Check the current temperature of the room

Example phrase:
—“Alexa, turn on [living room]”
—“Alexa, turn off [living room]”
—“Alexa, set [living room] temperature to 26 degrees”
—“Alexa, set [living room] to COOL”
—“Alexa, set [living room] to HEAT”
—“Alexa, set [living room] to AUTOMATIC”
—“Alexa, what is the temperature of [living room]”

5. Device Names
[living room] is the placeholder for your device names. You can change the device names in the Amazon Alexa App. Please make sure they do not contain any special characters. It works better if you use simple names which you can pronounce easily.
