Introducing Miss Jane, a virtual personality fresh from the 1800s. Miss Jane brings the sparkle of a different timeline into the modern day by delivering current weather forecasts and more, in the manner of a character from the early 19th century. Miss Jane's free service includes greetings and live, up-to-the-minute weather conditions and forecasts of up to 7 days for locations worldwide. The Jane's World subscription adds more flavor from the 1800s: period recipes, tips on manners and household management, quotations from contemporary influencers, and a relevant historical event of the day. How does it work? The Miss Jane system takes real-time data from live and public domain services, and uses artificial intelligence to generate responses in the manner of a British speaker from the Regency era. For most interactions, Jane chooses among multiple words and phrasings for a reply, and since each is generated afresh by the probabilistic A.I. system, you are unlikely to hear the same wording twice in a session.
