With the kumo cloud® temperature control skill you may now control the Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating system through Alexa and your Wi-Fi adapter. It is compatible with the kumo cloud® app and active Mitsubishi Electric HVAC system currently installed in your home. After linking your kumo cloud® account to the Alexa system, you may use your Alexa device to change modes or monitor and change the temperature simply by speaking.
SETUP To get started: 1. Enable this skill in the Alexa app. 2. Afterwards, you will be prompted to sign in using your kumo cloud® credentials. Completing this step will link Alexa with your account. 3. Follow the prompt to discover your equipment. 4. Test the connection with a command.
SUPPORTED MODELS kumo cloud® app is only compatible with the following Wi-Fi and Wireless Interfaces installed by a qualified contractor into your Mitsubishi Electric indoor units (Available to the US market at this time): • Wireless Interface (PAC-USWHS002-WF-1) Latest model
NAMING SCHEMES For zones that you want to control, you'll want to rename any that contain numbers or symbols, like colons and periods, using the kumo cloud® app. Consider using simple names like "bedroom", "dining room", "boy's room". Once you've changed names, use the Alexa app to rediscover your devices or ask, "Alexa, discover my devices."
CONTROL Change Temperature - After setting up the system, try these commands in order to test your connection between Alexa and your Mitsubishi equipment. • “Alexa, set downstairs to cool.” • “Alexa, increase bedroom by 4 degrees.” • “Alexa, set living room to auto.” • “Alexa, what is living room set to?” • “Alexa, what is the temperature in the kitchen?” • “Alexa, set dining room to heat.”
